IN MY OWN WORDS
Eight years ago I used to wake up at 3am, transfixed with fear, wondering where I was going to live, what will happen to my young daughter, and how I would pay the bills. My husband had just announced that he had decided move on.
It was a harrowing experience. You don’t know where to turn. I thought: “Where do I start?” After two years in court, retaining three lawyers and acting as a self represented litigant in dozens of motions and pleadings leading to a trial...I felt violated. I became committed to helping people find a better way of going through divorce.
I realized from a professional standpoint that there was something missing in the process. I envisioned how much more efficient divorce could be if individuals had better overall guidance. Time and time again, in both my personal and professional lives, I observed people putting too much of their emotional and financial resources toward unproductive use, making divorce more overwhelming, confusing, and expensive than it needed to be.
As a good listener and a born pragmatist, I discovered that others had identified the enormous value in this type of coaching as well as amicable divorce solutions and I pursued certifications as a Divorce Coach and Family Law Mediator.
It is my personal mission to help clients move through a difficult transition with greater direction and dignity, navigating a clear path to the life they want for themselves and their families.
